Overview

This program provides an overview of the principles and practices of agribusiness management, including topics such as financial management, marketing, and supply chain management in the agricultural industry. Students will learn how to analyze business operations and make informed decisions in the context of the agricultural industry.

The Professional Diploma provides a proven pathway to the AIES Mini Master of Agribusiness Management.

Upon completion, you will be able to:

  • Describe the key principles and concepts of agribusiness management.
  • Analyze business operations and make informed decisions in the context of the agricultural industry.
  • Understand the role of financial management, marketing, and supply chain management in agribusiness.
To be awarded the Diploma, Advanced and Professional Diploma in Agribusiness Management you must satisfactorily complete all written contributions. Successful students will receive a Diploma, Advanced and Professional Diploma in Agribusiness Management. A transcript detailing the course will be issued to successful students.

Program Structure

The Diploma, Advanced and Professional Diploma in Agribusiness Management are delivered at AIES approved centers over the course of 6 months (each level). The Diploma, Advanced and Professional consist of four levels.

  • DBUS 340 - Organizational Behavior

Advanced Diploma in Agribusiness Management – Level 5

  • DBUS 345 - Introduction to Macroeconomics 
  • DBUS 350 - Customer Relationship Management 
  • OMM 106 - Interpersonal Communication 
  • PSY 106 - Introduction to Psychology 
  • Math 206 - College Algebra 

Professional Diploma in Agribusiness Management – Level 6

  • DBUS 420 - Supply Chain Management 
  • DABM 423 - Exploring Agriscience
