Overview

 Welcome to the Tourism and Hospitality Management Program at AIES. This structured program spans four progressive levels—Foundation Diploma, Diploma, Advanced Diploma, and Professional Diploma. The curriculum explores core areas of the tourism and hospitality sectors, including travel coordination, hospitality operations, destination marketing, event planning, and sustainable tourism. Students examine how these components interact to shape guest experiences and support industry growth locally and globally.

Learning Outcomes

Upon completing the Tourism and Hospitality Management Professional Diploma Program, students will be able to:

  • Understand Travel and Tourism Systems: Demonstrate familiarity with the structure and economic impact of the tourism industry.
  • Explore Hospitality Operations: Identify key functions within guest services, accommodations, and food and beverage settings.
  • Design and Market Tourism Experiences: Explore how tourism packages and destination marketing influence visitor engagement.
  • Apply Sustainable Tourism Principles: Examine responsible travel practices that reduce environmental impact and support community well-being.
  • Plan and Coordinate Events: Understand the logistics and planning considerations for tourism-related events and guest experiences.

This program supports students in developing applied knowledge of the tourism and hospitality sectors through both theoretical study and practical exploration of real-world trends and practices.

Program Structure

The program is structured into four levels, each offering a carefully curated set of courses that progressively build on the knowledge and skills developed in the preceding level.

Advanced Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management

All courses in this level are mandatory and must be completed to progress to the next level.

Professional Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management

All courses in this level are mandatory and must be completed to successfully complete the program.

Application of Skills

 Students who complete the Professional Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management develop applied knowledge in guest relations, travel coordination, event logistics, and hospitality service operations. These skills may be applied in a range of environments that support tourism, customer engagement, and hospitality experiences.
