Patrick Neyland
Patrick Neyland is a doctoral researcher in accounting at Arizona State University, where his research focuses on artificial intelligence and accounting. He is currently taking leave from his doctoral program to focus on the practical application of AI, working with Neyland Solutions to help organizations implement AI to improve operations, productivity, and revenue growth.
Patrick’s work bridges academic research, technical expertise, and real-world AI implementation. He holds a master’s degree in Financial Economics from Utah State University, where his studies expanded into machine learning, deep learning, and textual analysis following the emergence of generative AI. He also contributed to the development of FiscalSim, a Python-based policy microsimulation model. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Utah Valley University.
