As a future early education in the Professional Diploma in Early Childhood Education at AIES, you will study everything you need to know to incorporate 21st-century learning strategies and promote solid language and literacy skills that will support your students for their whole lives. You will gain an understanding of the growth and development of children from birth to age eight so you can guide them through some of their most important developmental stages.
The Professional Diploma provides a proven pathway to the AIES Mini Master of Early Childhood Education.
To be awarded the Diploma, Advanced and Professional Diploma in Early Childhood Education you must satisfactorily complete all written contributions. Successful students will receive a Diploma, Advanced and Professional Diploma in Early Childhood Education. A transcript detailing the course will be issued to successful students.
The Professional Diploma provides a proven pathway to the AIES Mini Master of Early Childhood Education.
Upon completion, you will be able to:
- Design developmentally appropriate teaching experiences to implement professional learning standards and developmental needs of children.
- Analyze the principles of equity, pedagogy, and inclusivity to meet the needs of typically and atypically developing children.
- Summarize principles of child development.

The Diploma, Advanced and Professional Diploma in Early Childhood Education are delivered at AIES approved centers over the course of 6 months (each level). The Diploma, Advanced and Professional consist of four levels.
